Many men that are sexually attracted to women's feet wrestle with the issue 
of whether or not their desires are "normal." They wonder how this craving 
developed within them. Often, men who like to worship women's feet feel a 
subconscious culpability because of the stigma attached to their needs and 
wish to be "forced" to perform their "unconventional" desires by a dominant 
woman, thereby absolving themselves.

This article is devoted to the many inquisitive readers who have contacted 
me seeking answers about their love of feet. As a student of psychology and 
a dominant woman, I feel qualified to address these issues. Once again, I 
shall take on the role of a teacher to men in need of superior female 
guidance.

Please understand, however, that this article is merely a reflection of my 
studies and experiences and opinions. It is not meant to take the place of 
professional counseling.

In Psychology, sexual attraction to feet is called Podophilia. In this 
condition, someone becomes sexually excited by seeing, touching, sniffing, 
kissing, licking, or sucking the feet of another person. In some cases, 
sexual arousal can be derived from being trampled or simply being used as a 
foot-rest by someone else.

These activities are often labeled as foot fetishism by laypersons. For 
narrow-minded people, sexual interest in parts of the body outside the 
customary erogenous zones is thought to be abnormal and erroneously termed a 
fetish. Technically, having a fetish means that the desired form of stimuli, 
in this case, the foot, is obligatory for a man's potency. An intrinsic 
fetish is a fixation that has completely taken the place of traditional 
sexuality and inter-personal relationships. In most cases, however, a man 
who has a sexual attraction to feet has what is known as a partialism. A 
partialism is an individual preference for a certain body part or type that 
triggers sexual arousal.

All person's have their own unique preference for the kind of person who 
sexually attracts them. In males, because of their strong gravitation to 
visual stimulus, this trait is especially predominant. Most men have an 
intense fondness for females who posses a specific physical attribute such 
as breasts, buttocks, or legs of a certain size and shape, hair of various 
colors and lengths, or in some cases, pretty feet. It is extremely rare to 
find a man without a partialism of some type. Strong partialisms are almost 
exclusively a male trait and, unfortunately, often misunderstood by women. 
In some instances, an article of apparel such as footwear or hosiery may be 
a contributing factor to a man's arousal. In each of these cases, the 
uniting factor is their relationship to the foot.

There are many psychological theories dealing with the origins of sexual 
preference, but few facts. Many foot lovers indicate that they have been 
attracted to feet as long as they can remember. Some can credit a specific 
event that led to their attraction to feet. Many psychological theories 
state that sexual preference results from early life experiences. These 
psychologists assume that sexual preferences are the result of conditioning. 
In this scenario, very simplistically, an encounter with feet during 
childhood may have been pleasant. The child began to associate feet with 
pleasure and affection. At puberty, feet became sexually arousing. Others 
speculate that many aspects of human behavior, including sexual preference, 
are inherited and of a biogenic origin.

Is Podophilia normal? The word normal is defined as "conforming to the usual 
standard, type, or custom." Sexual attraction to feet is the most common of 
the so-called fetishes in males, so common, in fact, that it should probably 
be considered part of the norm. Enjoying the look of pretty feet and a good 
pedicure as well as caressing a woman's feet is a very normal human 
behavior, as long as the attention to her whole personality exists. One 
informal study estimated that five per-cent of men have a sexual attraction 
to feet.

A perusal of various polls on Yahoo! Groups and websites shows a consistent 
ranking of the toes as being men's favorite part of the feet. These are 
followed, respectively, by the soles and arches. Appropriately, toe sucking 
ranks as the favorite foot loving activity, followed by licking the soles 
and arches. Foot lovers also enjoy touching, sniffing, tickling, kissing, 
and lovemaking with the objects of their affections.

There are a myriad of variations on the theme of foot sexuality, almost as 
numerous as the men who admire feet. For the foot lover, attraction to feet 
may be highly specialized. Points of interest may include the size of the 
foot, the shape and length of the toes, pedicures, the texture of the skin, 
height of arches, cleanliness, dirtiness, and/or fragrance. Some foot lovers 
prefer bare feet, while others may prefer feet adorned with jewelry or 
dressed in specific types of shoes, socks or hosiery. Others concentrate on 
certain actions involving the feet, such as pushing down on accelerator or 
brake pedals, or crushing various objects. In addition, the versatile feet 
can be used to explore other desires, such as female domination. Trampling, 
ball busting, CBT, and humiliation are popular themes in this arena.

It is not abnormal to be attracted to a woman's pretty feet, just different. 
There are a plethora of ways to express love and admiration of a woman's 
feet. Life is short; enjoy it to its fullest potential. That is an order!
